BlogWelcome To My World: September 2024
Marianne Jones
Summer came and went with a flash and with September here we are busy at the center filling bins for tutors and students with supplies for their lessons, preparing binders, managing the September assessment schedule for new students, finalizing the tutoring schedule and preparing for our mandatory parent information night.
This year there will be eight second year students and ten first year students at the center. We have three new Practitioner 1 trainees, two Practitioner 2 trainees, and two trainees working on Instructor of Practitioner 1 and Supervisor/Mentor training. Instructor of Practitioner 1 training is a two-year process.
We also have five new staff members.
We are looking forward to our annual Walk-A-Thon in October and wish to thank all those who participated in our summer events, the Ride, The Teddy Bear Classic and the Brooks Barbeque. Our center is successful and we are able to provide the tutoring for the students and training for the adults because of the time and effort so many caring individuals put into each and every one of these events.

For the safety of our staff and students in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, all persons entering the center must wear a mask upon entry and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
