This is a comprehensive certification program for training qualified candidates in multi-sensory structured language teaching based on the work of Samuel T. Orton. It is an International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council(IMSLEC) accredited program.

Tutor/scholars attend an initial 24 hours of lecture prior to beginning the academic sessions. Thereafter, scholars are given supervised practicum experience twice a week throughout the academic year. They will also complete an additional 21 hours of course work.

During practicum sessions, which can occur between 2:30 and 6:00 p.m., scholars instruct two children twice weekly, for one hour each, and participate in seminars, conferences, and lesson planning.
